ZGPS APPRECIATES...24 APRIL 2004 FOLLYWOOD LAUNCH

Thank you one and all who came down, walked across the red carpet, flashed their tits, acted silly, gazed in awe at Sue-Sue Law's costume and shocked by X'Ho's megaphonic vocals. Lomographed and digtally flashed themselves.
It was a fun night had by all. The sound system cracked, the music played super-loud,explatives and swearing were then norm on stage. Thank you all for being there, and taking us seriously...

Zircon Gov Pawn Starz are Singapore's premier art-punk/electro-enfant-terrorists. They are called Sue Sue Law, X'Ho and Yeow. These may be common names in Singapore, so ignore any inferred glamour.Their album has Chicks on Speed and peter christopherson on it. You can dance to them. They look a bit like Sigue Sigue Sputnik, but good. This all might not have worked. They kind of pull it off.

PRESS RELEASE WKRZ DJs don't just play music, they make music as well. Getting out of their radio studios and into the recording studios, 3 WKRZ DJs have been producing songs with various local talents. Not straying too far from the music that the station already plays, the DJs themselves have been hard at work, dabbling in electronic music to further fulfil their core audience of techno and trance addicts. Jason Chow, AVP/music director of WKRZ, is also one-third of the commercial dance and techno wizards, The Usual Suspects. Apart from steering the creative direction of the band, the man has provided the vocals on tracks like "Come on over", 'Is it too late" and "Black Man Ray", all of which appear on their debut album. KS Lee, Creative Producer/Presenter at WKRZ has also recently teamed up The Usual Suspects to record a trance/dance update of "Pure" which was originally a hit for Lightning Seeds circa 1990.
